About Us

November 1998 Club formed as The North Cheshire Woodworkers Club with 12 members. 2000 following a Millennium Festival award the Club became Trafford & District Woodcraft Club. Once based at Altrincham College of Arts . Since January 2015 the Club meets every Tuesday evening at Sale West Community Centre, Newbury Avenue, Sale M33 4QW and has 40+ members All age groups and levels of experience are welcome. Anybody with an interest in woodcrafts. On general workshop club nights members can complete their own projects using any of the Club’s equipment. Skills and knowledge can be developed with help of monthly demonstrations (excl. December and January). Plus members have free access to the Club’s book and DVD library. The Club has a ongoing policy of buying/replacing/upgrading workshop kit for Club members to use on club nights. During the year we visit local fairs / festivals to demonstrate our craft, sell members work and to share our passion for wood.
