Welcome to Trafford & District Woodcraft Club
About Us
Founded November 1998 as The North Cheshire Woodworkers Club with 12 members. In 2000, following a Millennium Festival award, the club became Trafford & District Woodcraft Club. Once based at Altrincham College of Arts, since January 2015 we’ve met every Tuesday at Sale West Community Centre.
We now have over 40 members of all ages and experience levels. Anyone with an interest in woodcraft is welcome!
On general workshop nights, members can complete their own projects using club equipment. We also host monthly demonstrations (except December and January) to share skills and inspiration. Members enjoy free access to our book and DVD library, and we regularly invest in new workshop equipment.
During the year, we visit local fairs and festivals to demonstrate, sell members’ work, and share our passion for wood. Come along any Tuesday to see us in action, or contact one of our committee members for more information.
Experienced or not – come along and see what we’re about! Check out our Diary Page and visit us any Tuesday Club Night.
